Krishna Priya was born and brought up in Kannur district, Kerala. Leadership quality, confidence and optimism were inculcated in her at a very early age. The incredible motivation she gets from her family led her to follow her heart and dreams. She excelled in academics and marveled in arts and sports. At the age of 9, her interest sprouted in Karate and she proved mastery at the age of 15, when she received the blackbelt in Shotokan Karate. Dance had already then become the soul of the girl and in addition to that, she was awarded with scholarships and endowment titles. 
During her graduation (B.A.) in English Language and Literature from CMS College, she was introduced to National Service Scheme, where she actively participated and met the call to her career destination. She raised her name towards film industry by acting in a short film Akam and was unanimously selected as the best female actress of Malayala Manorama Yuva Short Film Festival Season 4. Her innovative quest for knowledge made her pursue Certificate Course in Functional English and additional Skill Acquisition Programme- Kerala Govt. 
Guided by her passion for exploration and zest for knowledge, she was eager to find out the panorama of opportunities that could nourish the abilities of youth. This paved way for her entry into Young India Fellowship 2016-17 batch. Her participation in Hult Prize Nationals 2017, representing Ashoka University in Indian nationals, helped to develop her social sense and to realize problems faced by refugees. Her voyage to become a strong leader, who really care for society and who can be the voice of the marginalized had already began and it continues.
