Sunakshi has worked in the corporate sector and has volunteered in a cross-disability organization, namely Astha, based out in South Delhi. After gathering experiences in both social and multi-national companies, a conviction – ‘the satisfaction received by doing something worthy, as small as bringing a smile on a face, cannot be compensated or equivalent to any remunerative job’, has been prevailing in her.
She firmly believes in the words of reverent Mother Teresa "I can do things you cannot, you can do things I cannot; together we can do great things". She believes an ecosystem of development can be constructed only if all the stakeholders of our nation come together and work collectively. After paying visits to the urban slums of Delhi, she sensed and grieved the disparity prevailing in society and she aspires to see India as a nation with less disparity and equal opportunities.
As part of her endeavors, she has also attained a certification in Social Norm & Social Change from the University of Pennsylvania.
