During engineering, Biswajit was actively involved in student politics and found his interest in activism. This involvement helped him to see social problems with multiple perspectives. After graduation, he joined the Gandhi Fellowship and while working on the field learned to design solutions for the problems faced by the community. During his fellowship in Jhunjhunu, he worked with the government officers, the school teachers, the Headmasters and with the community to improve the learning outcomes for government school students. While working in the community, he explored several different areas - public policy implementation, SHGs, micro-finance, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, agriculture, menstrual hygiene and healthcare etc.
 
He belongs to a region in West Bengal which is surrounded by Tea Gardens and is at the foothills of Himalayas. He wants to improve the lives of people of this region. During his research, he found that there is a major crisis of health care accessibility which people face. He therefore, wants to build an organization which will be working in villages for improving the accessibility of quality health care.
