Arpit aspires to actively engage with the change he wishes to see around him. Based on the causes he feels mostly strongly about, he has expanded his interest in the arts to work with Philarthropy, an organization where they enable artists and co-create art for cause. Until now, the organization has curated two online art campaigns and two solo exhibitions, which generated over five-digit revenues each time. They have also associated with various Teach for India centers to conduct workshops for students on visual arts.
The YIF program pushed him to dictate his choices through curiosity and impact, rather than convenience. In this program, he was encouraged to look at the interdisciplinarity of various disciplines and a mutli-perspective approach to understand a context. His next year as an entrepreneur there involved several interactions with investors, advisors, factory workers, shop owners and fellow-entrepreneurs. These conversations consistently changed his thought process and mannerisms.
His experience with consulting and business analytics taught him the power of effective data management and presentation, and, its importance for effective strategy. He now aspires to further his know-how of grassroots as well as understand development strategy as he would like to support capacity building and last mile delivery solutions to NGOs, governmental programs and philanthropists.
