Significant Life, Organisational Experience(s):
As a part of Happiness Team, Sakshi conducted 200+ interviews to select delegates across India for Young India Challenge, a conference to engage young minds in the 'Do What You Love' movement. This conference helped her discovering her passion and turning it to a profession for actualizing her full potential. As an intern at Protsahan India Foundation, she raised INR 25,000 through a crowdfunding website to build Protshan’s library with Menstrupedia Comic and Story Books for girls. Her experience at Protsahan helped her hone fundraising skills. Additionally, she had conducted educational sessions on menstrual hygiene and value-based activities to inculcate moral values.
During the Peace Fellowship, Sakshi organized and participated in Global Training of Trainers on Youth and Peace building, who came from 14 different countries. She was involved in Project Inaayat (refugee-rehabilitation), Project Parivartan (empowering women through social entrepreneurship), Play for Peace Activities and led the recruitment and training of new cohort of Peace Fellows 2018-19.
