Kamini has over 30 years of experience working in social purpose organisations.
As Executive Director of the Hope Project, Kamini gained in-depth knowledge of the innumerable ways social exclusion impacts the lives of the poor. While a part of Pravah, she designed and implemented youth leadership programs, and led research and impact evaluations for the same. At the Water Supply and Sanitation Collaborative Council (WSSCC), Kamini worked closely with the district administration to educate master trainers about menstrual health and hygiene. She is co-author of "The Ocean in a Drop: Inside-Out Youth Leadership".
Kamini has a Master’s in Social Policy and Planning in Developing countries, and a PhD in German Studies.
When in need to get away from the crowds, Kamini loves trekking in the Himalayas.
