Vishnu Padmanabhan is the Policy and Analytical Communication Lead at the Centre for Effective Governance of Indian States, a new non-profit dedicated to helping state governments improve development outcomes. Before this, he was Assistant Editor (Data) at Mint, where he helped run Plain Facts, India's only data journalism page, and wrote data-based pieces covering economics, policy and politics. He has also worked at J-PAL, TechnoServe and PRS Legislative Research.
