Indus Action is a policy implementation organisation working to make India's social protection systems accessible to those who need them most. Since 2013 it has partnered with 18 state governments across 20 states to connect 3.1 million vulnerable citizens with welfare entitlements. Through open-source technology, process re-engineering and citizen-centric research, it reduces the administrative burden that keeps eligible families from accessing what the law guarantees. It has unlocked Rs 2,452 crore in welfare with a 30X social return on investment.
