Meet Sanchita Mukherjee

Sanchita Mukherjee

Research Manager, Centre for Data Science and Social Impact

Sanchita is a researcher with experience across the Social, Government, Corporate sectors, and Academia.
At the beginning of her career, she was a statistical investigator with Census of India. She has been a part of organisations like the Azim Premji Foundation and Brickwork Ratings. At the International Institute of Population Sciences (IIPS), Sanchita was the Senior Project Officer for the WHO project on Global Youth Tobacco Survey IV. Apart from research, she has taught Economics and Research at NMIMS.

Sanchita has a Bachelor’s and a Master’s in Economics from the University of Calcutta. She also has a MPhil in Applied Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, and is pursuing a doctoral degree in Health Economics from the same institution.
Her personal interests include sketching, spoiling her pets and going on road trips.
