Kankana is a program and policy evaluation specialist with over 7 years of experience in the social impact sector. Her work spans research, evaluation, implementation and stakeholder engagement, with a focus on sustainable development & livelihoods, climate action, and gender equity. She has led evidence-based program design and institutional strengthening initiatives, influencing policies by collaborating with government bodies, multilaterals, and communities through rigorous fieldwork and policy advocacy.
She holds a Master’s degree in Ecology, Environment, and Sustainable Development from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. Her academic training laid the foundation for her work in sustainability, governance, and community-centered policy and program development.
