This article argues that despite rapid momentum, impact investing activity remains below its potential due to an inefficient marketplace connecting investors with social ventures. It proposes that developing cost-effective methods to engage new investors and "prime the pump" for investor-ready social ventures, through capacity-building, outreach, education, and technical assistance, is crucial for industry growth. The "CO Impact Days and Initiative" is presented as a replicable model for addressing these market barriers.
