Building A Data-Driven Development Ecosystem
CDSSI enables Social Purpose Organisations (SPOs) to use data in practice to scale their operations, improve efficiency, and strengthen impact. We do this by building capacity, developing usable tools and platforms, fostering partnerships, and embedding strong data practices across the ecosystem.
Because Data Alone Does Not Create Insight—Or Impact
Across the social sector, organisations are collecting more data than ever before—fuelled by compliance mandates, digital systems and growing demands for accountability. But more data has not necessarily led to better strategy or improved outcomes.
The gap is not access to data, but the capability to use it well—through the right skills, systems, and leadership practices. CDSSI exists to strengthen how data science is understood, applied and embedded in social purpose organisations, so data informs judgment rather than becoming an end in itself.
