Aakash is a social entrepreneur focused on empowering unemployable youth in India to navigate the future of work and learning by mastering 21st-century skills through self-learning. He works to integrate the culture, tools, and practice of self-learning into the Indian education and vocational training ecosystem, enabling teachers to become champions of 21st-century skills and helping young people build purpose, autonomy, and ownership over their learning and career pathways.

He has previously served as Program Officer at Ambuja Cement Foundation, Regional CSR Coordinator at Microsoft Middle East & Africa, and Country Director at the International Youth Foundation, and has been an active member of AIESEC. He is a Finalist for the Schwab Social Entrepreneur of the Year (2019) and an Ashoka Fellow.
