Kaustubh Khare

Designer and Educator

Profile: Kaustubh has over a decade of experience working with not-for-profits, social enterprises, and government departments in the areas of primary education and climate change. He has collaborated with organisations such as the Central Square Foundation, EkStep Foundation, Language and Learning Foundation, Vikramshila Education Resource Society, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Most recently, he led the design of foundational literacy and numeracy toolkits for government schools across Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh.

He has designed and facilitated courses on Group Dynamics and Leadership and Visual Thinking at Ashoka University, ISDM, Plaksha, Naropa Fellowship, and the Vedica Scholars Program. His research interests include Organisational Design, Visual Semiotics, and Indian Heritage.

Education: IIT Kharagpur, Ashoka University, and the University of Tartu; (Master’s thesis at the University of Tartu on “Semiotic Analysis of the Mission Prerna Structured Pedagogy Toolkit”.)
