He spent over 20 years at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he served as Managing Director and Senior Partner and led BCG India for several years. He also co-founded the BCG Henderson Institute, the firm’s global think tank for strategy and management thought leadership. His work has focused on corporate strategy, globalization, industrial competitiveness, and public sector transformation, advising leading corporations and governments worldwide.

Beyond consulting, Dr. Bhattacharya has contributed extensively to public policy and institutional development, working with central and state governments in India and serving on multiple advisory boards.
