Kakul brings over two decades of experience across general management, strategy, business development, operations, and programme leadership.

Her work spans sectors including education, telecom, aviation, financial services, and vocational skilling, where she has led initiatives focused on building scalable, impact-driven models. She has worked extensively on skilling programmes for students, job aspirants, and professionals.

She has led the setup of the Centre for Digital Governance, an anchor agency for the National Urban Digital Mission under the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, and has also built a skills organisation in the allied healthcare space, introducing global standards to India.
