Mekin Maheshwari is an entrepreneur, angel investor, and social sector leader committed to building entrepreneurial mindsets at scale. As the founder and CEO of Udhyam Learning Foundation, he has helped empower over 1.6 million government school and Industrial Training Institute (ITI) students across eight Indian states by nurturing entrepreneurial skills and mindsets. Through Udhyam’s initiatives, thousands of women entrepreneurs have also increased their collective incomes significantly.

Before moving to the social sector, Mekin played key leadership roles in India’s technology ecosystem. He worked at Yahoo! and Ugenie before joining Flipkart in 2009, where he served in pivotal positions including President of Engineering and Chief People Officer during a phase of rapid growth. He is also a co-founder of the Global Alliance for Mass Entrepreneurship (G.A.M.E), contributes to initiatives at ACT Grants, and serves as an independent board member at TeamLease Services Ltd. In addition, he is an active angel investor focused on human capital and education technology ventures.
