Mona (Kothari) Dikshit brings over 20 years of experience as a grassroots practitioner in the development sector. Her work spans rural livelihoods, microfinance, and the promotion of community-based organisations, including SHGs, cooperatives, and producer organisations. She has worked with organisations such as the BASIX Social Enterprise Group, Swiss Development Cooperation, NDDB/TANCOF, and Sewa Mandir, across multiple states in India. She also serves on the boards of several social purpose organisations.

Mona is an experienced trainer and facilitator, with a focus on strengthening community institutions and youth leadership. Her consulting work includes assignments with organisations such as TRIFED, FICCI, Tata Trusts, the World Bank, UNDP, and JICA. She has also spent time as a biodiversity-focused farmer-entrepreneur.
