Pia Bakshi is a doctoral scholar in English, with research focused on the ethics of remembrance in relation to colonial pasts.

Alongside her academic work, she has founded and co-founded arts initiatives including PhilARThropy and ARTmosphere, working to expand access to art education and creative engagement. She has taught writing seminars at Ashoka University and Panjab University, and contributes to teaching Writing Perception as part of the Writing in the Discipline course.

She is the author of Read/Read and serves as a scriptwriter with the theatre production firm The Idea Box.
