
Pramath Raj Sinha
Pramath Raj Sinha is a visionary leader in higher education and institution building in India. He was the Founding Dean of the Indian School of Business (ISB), where he played a pivotal role in establishing the school as a globally recognised management institution. He also contributed significantly to the creation of Ashoka University, one of India’s leading liberal arts institutions.
Beyond academia, he has held senior leadership roles in business and media, including Partner at McKinsey & Company and Managing Director and CEO of the ABP Group. He founded 9.9 Media and later launched Harappa Education, an innovative online platform focused on workplace skills, which subsequently merged with upGrad. Currently, he heads the India operations of Albright Stonebridge Group. A thought leader on education reform, he is the author of An Idea Whose Time Has Come and Learn, Don’t Study.
