Roopa brings gender-awareness to her role as a leader. Her strength lies in her ability to design and implement comprehensive plans, develop funding proposals, and ensure successful project execution.

Roopa has founded of iStreeling, with the aim to empower marginalized communities through intersectional feminism and by challenging oppressive narratives. She was Senior Program Officer at QUEST Alliance, and worked with NGO managers and ITI Principals. As part of her role, she promoted gender awareness and inclusivity, ensuring a positive impact on individuals' lives. Roopa was recognised by The Better India for her significant contributions in improving livelihoods in Madhya Pradesh.
