Sanjiv Kumar is an education leader and institution builder, known for founding the Takshila Educational Society (TES) in 1997.

He has led the establishment of multiple Delhi Public School campuses across India and initiated Parivartan, a rural development programme focused on skilling youth and supporting sustainable agriculture in Bihar. His work reflects a long-standing commitment to expanding access to education and strengthening community-led development.

He has also founded Arthshila, a cultural space for artistic expression, and Ektara, an initiative focused on Hindi children’s literature. In addition, he serves as a founder trustee of Ashoka University.
