Maitrayee Mukerji brings over two decades of experience across the software industry and academia, with a focus on how technology and data shape development.

Her doctoral research on telecentres in rural India was published as a book by Palgrave Macmillan, and her work on digital platforms and the digital divide has appeared in journals such as the Australasian Journal of Information Systems, Information Technology for Development, and the Electronic Journal of Information Systems in Developing Countries.

Her current research interests include organisational and societal level changes brought about by data and technology.
