Ravi Sreedharan transitioned to the social sector in 2011 after a 24-year career in the corporate world.

At HSBC, he worked across more than 30 countries and held senior leadership roles including Regional Marketing Head for the Middle East and Africa, Head of Consumer Products for Asia Pacific, Consumer Banking Head for Indonesia, and CEO and President Director of Bank Ekonomi.

He later joined the Azim Premji Foundation, where he led work on strengthening leadership and management within the education system. His work focuses on building stronger institutions and leadership practices in the social sector.
