Vijay Mahajan is a development professional and thought leader with extensive experience in the social sector. He currently serves as the CEO of the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation and Director of the Rajiv Gandhi Institute for Contemporary Studies, where he contributes to research, policy dialogue, and development initiatives in India.

He engages with issues relating to the role of civil society, markets, and government in addressing development challenges. He is also a guest speaker for the session “The Landscape of the Social Sector in India: Need for Samaj-Bazar-Sarkar and Professionals in the Sector” during the Orientation programme.
