A former journalist with 15+ years of experience, Sowmya has worked for publications such as Mid Day, Femina, and Bangalore Mirror. She has written on a range of subjects from art and culture to civic governance. But her strength and passion are in writing about gender, technology, and the environment. Sowmya has also led editorial teams and prior to taking on her present role, she was working as a media, content, and communications professional. Sowmya has a Bachelor’s in English Literature from Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi. She also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism & Mass Communication from the Xavier Institute of Mass Communication, Mumbai, and a Master’s in English Literature from Mumbai University. Her personal interests include watching tennis and reading books.
