This article examines the intersection of social innovation, social entrepreneurship, and entrepreneurial philanthropy in Europe and North America. Using mixed-methods research, it finds that philanthropic actors are increasingly adopting entrepreneurial behaviors like risk-taking and a focus on scaling and innovation.
